Comprehensive Carrier Screening for Donor Recipients with Oasis Fertility

All healthy individuals carry 2 - 5 changes in genes that could impact the health of their future children. Carrier screening is strongly recommended to anyone planning a pregnancy- including those using donor gametes.

Comprehensive carrier screening is an at-home test that looks at 780+ genes to see if you carry changes that could cause a serious inherited condition in a child, including Cystic Fibrosis, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Fragile X Syndrome, Tay-Sachs Disease, and Thalassemia.

This test is available to donor recipients at Oasis Fertility Centre and includes:

• Your own carrier screening (via simple saliva kit and telehealth support)
